In a time of pain, uncertainty, and overload, we opened a dedicated emergency response hub and built an emergency system through GloWe to help connect requests for support with people, NGOs, organizations, and volunteers who can respond.
We are here to help support reach those who need it - in a more organized, human, and effective way.
Why We Opened the Emergency Hub
In times of emergency, needs rise quickly - but so does the willingness to help.
The challenge is that requests are often scattered across phone calls, WhatsApp groups, forms, and different people, making it hard to see the full picture, pass a request to the right person, and follow up on what happened next.
We opened this hub to help bridge that gap - between those asking for support and those who are able to offer it.
What We Did During the Emergency
During the recent war between Israel and Iran, we opened an emergency coordination hub in Israel to help connect urgent needs with people and organizations able to respond.
Through this effort, we helped connect:
An emergency hosting space for an organization providing holistic care for cancer patients
A cybersecurity expert for an organization that had been breached
Therapists and practitioners who volunteered their time
Reservist families in need of support
Municipalities, families, and community actors looking for relevant assistance
